Does he like me?? Idk! ?

Ok, so this is a two part question. there's this guy at my work, and he's really shy... But like a week ago, we were in the break room and out of the blue he asked me for my number. I was really shocked cause I'm 26 and he's barely legal, and that makes me tread with caution. But he's such a gentleman and he's such a sweet guy. So my first question is... Since he's only 18 and I'm 26, is that pushing the age thing??? My second question is... He got my number, and when we're around eachother, he treats me like a lady, he doesn't converse with the other girls there, and he will with me, if I talk to him. He and I do both have one major thing in common, we both have a son. I have dealt with different types of guys, ones that want only one thing, and ones that are genuinely intersted, and guys that aren't. But I can't figure him out. What makes me confused is, at work, he treats me like a lady, he doesn't make forward advances, but he does talk to me but not other girls, he does text me every morning, and every night. A sweet short text message. But thats it, unless I text him in the middle of the day, then he'll answer, but thats it. Is he just shy? Idk... Wow I feel so stupid. Lol.
