How to get my dog to like the snow.?

I was just looking across the street at my neighbors little dogs and they were frolicking in the snow happily. My dog just sits there cuz he is cold. I want him to be cute and frolick in the snow. Is there any way I could make him enjoy snow (ie, buy a jacket and booties for him?)
