I lost a big amount of torque i used to be able to spin my tires by stepping on it on first gear now i have no torque and i just go without and wheels spinning and no power i also noticed at around 70(4th gear) my truck just stops going anywhere. A killer bee brutally attacked the young sweet chap. I was unaware of their true power, but whilst we were frolicking in the woods this morning an airplane carrying nut honey was flying above. Both squirrels & bees were mad with jealousy. I attempted to stop a young baby squirrel from jumping into a pond, but as I went to save the poor fellow, my dog ran off and tried to bite the bees. 2003 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L 4WD - Cylinder #1 Misfire - Check Engine Light?

On my Tahoe there is a continued engine light I have read the code and it informs me that there is a misfire on Cylinder #1. Check engine light is usually continuous but often flashes. Has anyone ever had a similar problem? I have replaced the spark plug, the coil and the plug wire. Is the next step replacing the fuel injector? I have used fuel injector cleaners multiple times.

1998 Hyundai Elantra, Radio,clock, lighter do not work?

Hi, I have a Hyundai 1998 Elantra SE. My Radio, OS clock and cigarette lighter do not work. I verified the appropriate fuses (with a light tester) at the fuse box next to the pedals, and they work fine, none are blown out and for extra caution i even replaced them. Also thinking that my radio might of been fried I installed a new one and still nothing. I have been reading blogs for days now with similar problems and they keep on mentioning to verify the fuse box under the hood which i did with the light tester and they all work fine, the bigger Lego block types I'm not sure which if any comply with the radio, lighter and clock fuse? and how to test those. Also many have mentioned about shorted wires and such, but which ones do I verify than? Thanks in advance.

How do you cure a kitten's loneliness?? Please help?

I have a situation which I need help with. Ive been taking care of a stray female cat and her 4 1 month old kittens for 1 1/2 months now and I got more and more attached to them as the days went by and they became a part of out daily lives. I have a big backyard in which the kittens used to play and frolic with each other like all kittens do and I assume that they loved each other being siblings (all females btw). Everything was dandy, 3 routine meals a day, a nice soft garden to sleep in, plenty of play time etc. Heres were the problem starts.....I woke up today morning to find all but 1 kitten missing....i assumed they were around because i have a big backyard and they wake up by between 8 to 10. But there was no sign of them anywhere. That 1 kitten left behind was mewing loudly almost frantically outside so i fed it thinking it was very hungry ,but after eating it resumed with its sad mewing. Its been doing this continuously all day. I think its very lonely and is calling out to its sibling trying to find them. Its gotten to the point were its running around in frustration and scratching and biting anything and everything it sees. I've searched for the other 3 kittens everywhere including neighboring compounds but I can't find them and with every passing minute that 1 kitten gets more and more frantic. My heart bleeds for the little one. These 4 kittens were a bunch and very attached to each other, but now 3 are gone and 1 is left behind. he mother is also here but shes not bothered. I'm getting worried myself, i'm afraid of letting the last 1 out of my sight because there are alot of big stray dogs on the roads near my house. I'm starting to get the feeling they might have killed the other 3 if they wandered out of the yard. Where could the others have gone?? Is it normal?? Can i expect a return in a few days?? How do I calm the last kitten down?? Please help I like cats allot but don't now much about them.......

Gap marine fuel quick connect?

I have an issue with a gap between the male and female connectors, it leaks fuel, and I've tried 4 other fitting to try and resolve this problem. The tank is pretty old and made of metal, so I don't know if this is a factor. The gap is about an 1/8th of an inch wide

How many of you out there are pain patients? And how many are decriminated against for it.?

As I AM a pain patient for 22 years, I am deeply involved in eliminating the stigma that comes with the use of opiate pain meds. I have had to learn on my own, pharmacology, and have learned how the medical system works, good and bad. I have seen much suffering, much ignorance, and have a deep understanding of the issues that affect those of us who have severe chronic pain. I am attempting to be selfless, and very honest on this matter. Do not give up hope, I myself am very tired of having to bury friends who have been driven to suiced. There IS a way, there IS an answer. BUT, let me say if one decides to use opite pain killers, there is a high price to pay, both socially and mentally, temendous inner strenght is needed. When they say to you, " be a man, you can take it" trust me, when one is in severe pain, he will do anything to stop the pain. Tough has nothing to do with it. From MY experience, having many bad wrecks on harleys, working 40 years of my life, my body has been abused, and now, I am paying for it. Compassdion is needed, anyone who needs help. i will try, just know , i will answer no questions from those who seek pain meds for recreation.That has caused those of us who NEED the medicines, to be desriminated against. There ARE laws concerning the proper dignified treatment of patients who need pain relief, and there are many sides to this topic. And a battle is going on in this country right now, to eliminate ignorance, and desrimination.My advice to all, is is you are young, and have back pain, try EVERYTHING else before you decide to take opiate pain meds, it is a life sentence, once one reaches high doses, ones chemistry is changed. There are responsible ways to use pain meds, and they are not written down in the PDR, they are learned, the hard way. Good repore with your doctor is key, and great patience, and honesty. Yes, as many of you know, major sectors of the medical community are in turmoil, resulting in less than adequte care for most all. No, its not right, but, it IS reality. Its very simple, opite pain meds, once a person has taken them for years, will render the patient physically dependent, and the withdraws are as close to death many will ever feel, and not die. Car trouble, 1993 trans am, cutting out?

i have a 1993 Pontiac Friebird Trans Am and it cuts out on me completely, I have changed the fuel pump and its relay and distributor, so now I'm stuck wondering if it can be the computer ECU I'm guessing if that's what its called? Also one time the A/C would turn on and off many times when the dial was at "OFF" if the computer is the problem where would i find it in the car, also could a bad jump start be the cause from the start by frying the computer? sorry for the long question, anything will help THANK YOU!

Hyosung 125GV Motorcycle Problem?

I have a Hyosung 125GV and have a problem with it all the sudden. After about 5km of driving 70-80 km/hr, the bike starts to slow down and kind of sputters back and forth until I have to pull over and wait a couple minutes to start it again. 1997 Eclipse GST problems PLEASE HELP!?

The problem started when the car would have trouble starting sometimes. The car would have to be rocked a few times to get it to start. The other day, the car just wouldn't start at all. We got it to start intermittently, but nothing seems to be working. Replaced the starter, the battery, and the battery cables. When the starter is grounded, it clicks but no fuel pump. When the starter is not grounded, it doesn't click but the fuel pump starts. No idea what's wrong with it. Help!!

Can you use someone as a refernce without asking permission?

I was babysitting for one of my neighbors for some time. There was an issue which I won't discuss to save time and keep privacy. Basically, in the end, I had to stop working for him even though he wanted me to continue. A situation arose which I handled quite well (he told me so and asked me to continue babysitting), but I didn't want the situation to arise again and felt it showed a lack of respect for me on his part. Now, I am applying to other jobs. I would like to use him as a reference, but I am not sure if I can do so without asking permission. I would have to give his phone number out on application forms. I though it was implied that as an employer you could be used as a reference, but my friend cautioned against it. I am worried about asking him because we have not talked in months and I feel it could be awkward.

You have a few options. It doesn't sound like harassment to me, but it does sound like he is a jerk and is taking advantage of you. You are perfectly justified to stand up for yourself and tell him off. My advice would be to move to another department in the store or just quit if he is not doing as you ask or is making threats. If he's older, he's likely not about to change, so you are better off just getting away from him.

Transmission problem, help!?

Ok well my wifes car is a 2006 scion xa. It has 80000 miles on and the transmission fluid had never been replaced. It says that it doesn't need to be under normal frolic conditions, but I just found out Toyota recommends changing it every 60k. Anyhow yesterday wife turn on the car and press on gas but would not move. Checked transmission fluid and it was empty. I added some and it's fine now, at least I think so, If it's leaking it's a slow one. My question Is where did the fluid go? I though transmission fluid couldn't be burned? What could be the problem? Do we need a new transmission or is it something smaller? In 2 weeks we were going to drivecross country is this a good idea now? Please help, thanks.

How does your dog feel about snow?

My wolf absolutely LOVED the snow! He would leap and roll and stick his nose way in it and throw it over himself then try to bury himself in it. It was just hilarious to watch him in the snow! It made him so SO happy! He never got cold or tired of playing in the snow. My pugs on the other hand are very sensitive to the cold. I'm sure they would not enjoy it at all so I have no plans of taking them to snow country. Where I live it only snows about every five years and then it is just a little and it melts right away. I used to make special trips to the snow for my wolf because he loved it so much. Who says my critters are spoiled? LOL!

The car had barely come to a stop before I flung the door open and leapt out. I was so excited. I’d looked on the Sunrise Stables website hundreds of times with its beautiful pictures of girls posing arm in arm in front of stalls, sitting on top of beautiful horses soaring over jumps, and spraying each other with hoses in the blistering summer sun, but never had I actually seen it up close like this. It was beautiful. I ran to the gate, pausing for only a second to let my parents catch up. I stop. I look around myself taking in the stunning countryside. As I look to my left I see about a dozen horses, of all sizes and colours, frolicking around the pasture. Straight ahead was the barn, rich hazel coloured wood and shining black roof. I took a deep breath and sighed, I was at home. “Come on Lexi,” Dad called interrupting my daydream. They were almost to the barn office now. “It’s Alex,” I called and jogged after them. As I stepped into the office I saw several girls in breeches, t-shirts, and riding boots sipping sodas on a brown leather couch in the corner chatting amongst themselves. Dad nudged me towards a woman in her early thirties sitting behind a computer screen. I walked shyly towards her. I walked to an unlocked one and opened it, at about waist height there was a saddle rack, with room for tall riding boots and multiple pairs of others below. Above were hooks all high enough so nothing would touch the saddle, and at the very top was a shelf. On the door was a bridle hook with room for a martingale or breast plate and a small basket to put odds and ends in. I closed the locker. On the other end of the room were similar lockers each with horse names plates attached. “These are our personal lockers, available for rent at $30 per month,” she said pointing to the larger ones I had just been admiring, “And these are our school horse’s lockers.” All the lockers, personal and school horse, had some sort of weird card scanner like thing attached, and on the wall across from the door were three machines. 2002 Dodge Caravan Sputtering?

I had a problem like this on a 2000 Grand Caravan. It turned out to be the spark plug wires. Tried an aftermarket set and it didn't work. Had to get a set from the Dealer. That solved the issue and the price at the dealer was less than the aftermarket wires. Go figure.

My Viza Viper gas scooter stops when riding! Help!?

I have a 33cc viza viper gas scooter. I recently got a new gas tank. The Company does not make them anymore so I had to get a different one and had to get my uncle who works at a repair shop to put a wedge or something since it didint fit. When I got the new tank on. It worked GREAT. They put a new racing sprocket in, tuned it up and sprayed something on the chain. I rode my scooter alot after the repair. I probably wasted like 10 miles on gas. Well anyway i started noticing the scooter jerking as if it where stopping, it would still accelerate but at certain times it would make those dying noises.Any scooter owners know when they are out a gas there scooter like jerks and starts slowly dying. well MY scooter started to go that. But its different because my tank was half full. Well it got worse later on, and from this day Every time I start It it dies in 15 seconds or less. I personally think its the fuel lines since they are alot longer and cant reach the carburator. But even if I press the little pump thingy I do it like 20 times so enough gas gets in but its not working I have herd people saying its a air leak but I dont think it is. sorry for the long story. Lawnmower keeps stalling, Why? (more info below...)?

It periodically stalls after running well for awhile; if I tilt it forward or bounce it up and down, when it starts acting up, it will rev up again. Sometimes it keeps running, sometimes it dies again. After it dies it won't start until I take off the gas cap and blow into the tank. It then runs ok until the next time. This is a 8 year old Sears 6 Hp "one pull start" mower. I've replaced the carb and cleaned out the fuel tank and lines but that didn't help. Out of ideas; has anybody else had this problem?

Im looking for a new car under $10,000. What i look in a car is performance, fuel economy, sporty/muscle look, descent mileage, and a pretty modern yr (not like a 1990's). HI I got my cat timmy about a year ago off kijiji (website similar to e bay), the previous owners said he's about 6 or 7 years, he's fixed extremely obese and lazy, thats the part where i'm concerned he's about 25 to 30 lbs so big his nick names tubz, he breathes heavily but his teeth and gums look fine 2 me but I obviously wanna visit a vet asap, he had worms a couple months ago so we just bought some drops from the pet store & it looks 2 me like there gone but once again I wanna check a vet.... My little cat is sick :(?

My 10 month old female cat started making kind of a coughing noise a few days ago. At first I thought she was coming down w/ a cold, but then we started thinking possibly a furball (which, coincidentally, is her name (she's a long haired) ). I got some ointment & have given her 3 applications so far. Her eyes and nose are dry & NOT runny. Today I have found her twice positioning herself in an upright position, as if to purposely keep her head high, & my gut feeling is worms trying to make their way up. but she's trying to cough back down (or maybe up). Her brother (as well as her other siblings) are being treated for tape worms, which I found in the (1) brother's stool a couple of weeks ago (treatment in water). Of course the tape worms tend towards the back end, but I know my mom's cats in the past vomited up worms before. Also, her nose is warm, too. She's not her usual frolic-y self & doesn't purr when petted. I'm waiting for my neice (the vet tech) to call me back,but figured I'd post here in the meantime. Any thoughts folks?

2001 chevy cavalier warning light problems?

Most of the work was done because the first person to work on the car screwed up a lot of things. but that's another story. today I was driving and the TRAC OFF light came on, followed by THEFT SYSTEM and SERVICE. I parked the car, shut it off and turned it on. no lights. i drove a few feet, the THEFT SYSTEM and the SERVICE light came on and then the BRAKE light and one other light ( i couldn't catch what it was) blinked on and off and those other two stood on...any ideas what's going on?

hey, i have a fiesta 1.1 1993. i have had a service done to it about 6 months ago and got told my emissions was at 600 grams < i think thats the word for it. the maximum is 300 so its double the maximum. when i get out of the car after driving i smell alot of fuel. and if i rev my car a load of black liquid comes out of the exhaust. and my exhaust is very black at the tip of it. but there is loads of it and all of a sudden my battery light has came on. some times it stays on when my car is cut of and keys out. but my car goes flat over night. so the light might just be that my altinator has gone. the car did cut out on me when i came to the end of a road when my clutch is in. revs drop to 1000 rmp then goes up and down up then goes to 0 rpm. i pulled the acceleration tight so problems ok but must be a problem some where. but i dont no what it could be. thank you for reading. Too old for USAF & Flight School?

I'm 22, recently decided to buckle down with college and will have my AA in a month or so. I've wanted to be a pilot since I was 6 and learned that my grandfather was a mechanic and worked on p-51 mustangs. However like most dreams we have as children that seems to be a ridiculous idea as you grow older. This one has kind of always stuck with me in some way and I'm starting to think about it a lot recently. I understand that only a VERY select few become fighter pilots, while other end up flying cargo or fuel. I've heard everything there is to hear about the difficulty and slim chances of becoming a pilot. I didn't come hear to hear more about that. I would love to fly for the USAF or Navy, however hard it is to land on a carrier lol. My only question is, am I too old to go down that road? I've heard about some "high-school to flight-school" program which may have been my best bet, but my head was elsewhere when I was in high-school. Any and all answers are appreciated, thank you.

Is my Blazer's Fuel Pump Bad?

It is a 2001 Chevy Blazer LS with the 4.3l v6. We were driving down the road and it quit on us. it is not the alternator because i had that tested. i was told to replace the distributor cap and rotor so i did that. i got it to start and it idles really rough. when you step on the gas the car dies. the fuel pump sounded really labored when it would prime the system. then the fuel pump stopped working and it would not start. 3 days later the fuel pump did kick on but sounded labored and again rough idle and would die when stepping on the gas. then the pump stopped working again. is this the sign of a bad fuel pump?

hi amber ! i think i know what your talking about dear. you say it wants to stall? i would start by changing the fuel filter. it could be restricting the flow of fuel. the coil can make it shut down if it,s getting too hot and also a bad ignition switch and pump relay if the relay is sticking. i would start by changing the fuel filter first before getting into the other stuff. sounds like fuel or something is getting hot and making it act up, like the coil for instance.

Can my dog climb stair while on heartworm treatment?

I just adopted a dog from the pound, and when I went to get his shots and neuter he was diagnosed with heartworms. Well the vet gave him the treatment and now I have to keep him calm for 8 weeks. This really isn't a problem as he isn't very active inside and I will take him out on a leash so he can't run and frolic. The problem is I spend most of my time upstairs and he prefers to be where I am. So is it ok for him to climb the stairs? He goes out 3 or 4 times a day so he has to climb back down them and then back up every time he goes out. I just don't know. Caprice classic 1984 electrical fault can anyone help?

UK - It is not on your record because you were under 18 and were not charged with anything. partner works in security and needed a CRB and he did serve time for theft over 20 years ago but it was spent and did not affect his work but previous to that he did have similar to you which was a slap on the wrist and this was not on his record. My dog just died, what should I do to get over it?

Today I went to a neighbor's house for dinner with my mom and came home alone and found my dog had been hit by a car. I was devistated. His name was Jack. My mom found him on an old country road as a puppy. He was frail, sick and in need of care. We took care of him and he became the most playful character you could want in a dog. He always licked you no matter what, he was loving, and was always willing to cuddle. He liked outdoors, he especially liked trying to bother our other dogs. He skipped and frolicked in the grass so happily you could tell he loved being alive. We've had him for roughly 2 years, and today, I found him, covered in blood, with a broken leg. He had been hit by a car. Unfortunately, Jacks playful and silly nature lead him to chasing cars. He was one of my best friends and I am having a lot of trouble getting over it. He was only 2 years old. I keep calling him in my head so that he could come back but he won't. I don't know what to do.

Can you use premium unleaded gas in a diesel fuel reserve tank and pump that goes in your truck bed?

Like everyone that buys those auxiliary reserve tanks for their diesel trucks they either need it to haul farm diesel for their farm equipment or to refill their own trucks, I have a regular truck that only takes premium super unleaded gas and I would like to get the reserve tank my question is can I do that? Or are the pumps they sell only for diesel fuel or is it just not good to store "regular" gas versus diesel?

I record for YouTube using both CamStudio and Fraps, but recently all AVIs I record appear black in Media Player (can hear the audio) and the clips have yellow caution signs in Movie Maker. This is a big problem, because I use Movie Maker to render and post my clips. I can still see thumbnails of the videos in their folders, and they'll play in the CamStudio 2 player. I think I may have deleted a factory installed codec accidentally when trying to free up some space. What codecs are necessary to view screen captures?

well it's like this I am an single black female that is 33 years old and I have been married before like 8 months into that relationship. Lots of girl have a different reaction on their periods. I can go three month without a period sometimes and I just don't get why. Sometime I will have it twice a month. I dont know where it is. The car runs while cool, but when it gets up to operating temp, it begins bucking and the tach sweeps wildly. I have been charged with section 47 ABH what will happen to me?

During a 5 a side game of football I was playing in goal and I had the ball in two hands and one the opposition come right through the back of me for no reason so I reacted my pushing him in the back of the head. The ref sent me off for raising my hands and give the other player a yellow card for the first offence. When off the pitch the kid was raging and cursing me then he come towards me looking like he was going to hit me so I rugby style handed him off (open hand with keeper gloves on) in the face and broke his nose. I thought nothing more of it but I got arrested a few weeks later, the police said that the kid can hardly breathe because of his injuries yet since the week after the incident he has played football twice a week at the centre! The police just told me I might as well take a caution but if I get a criminal record I will not be able to carry on coaching kids rugby league and I’ll lose my job, ironically we do work supporting the ministry of justice!! I returned to the police station and got charged with Section 47 ABH and due in court on the 7th of July. I’m devastated by this because I have never been in any trouble with the police before and I’m not an aggressive person at all. What do you think will happen to me?? Someone said that if my solicitor gets all of our evidence sorted it might get dropped before it goes to court? I’m worried!
