Boy troubles, the usual.?

So there's this boy, yeah I know, it always starts off like that. But the thing is, this boy and i were best friends throughout our whole childhood. During that time it was obvious we both liked eachother. After our last summer frolicking about we had a massive falling out. Now let's push the fastforward button, I'm sixteen, and he's seventeen. We haven't talked in three years but I still adore the kid. So, back in December I tried talking to him, it honestly went like this "Hey, do you remember me?" "Yeah." "How've you been?" "Fine." and then I honest to god ran away. See but his face was bright red so that means something, right? Riiiight? Anywhooooo, I caught him staring at me for the whole week. Now, let's fastforward to April. I want to talk to him again. I really do, and I don't know what to say. My whole do you remember me thing was kind of used up. Plus, I'm incredibly shy so how do I muster up the courage to talk to him again? P.S. He does not have Facebook or a phone. Thank you.
